Your In -Town Retreat:
A Greenville Bed and Breakfast Inn
The Manor House is located in the historic Augusta Road Area, next to Downtown Greenville.
Greenville, SC is located in the beautiful foothills of the Blue Ridge Mountains. An active cultural and arts center, the area has numerous restaurants to enjoy, and outdoor activities only a short drive away. The Peace Center offers year round offerings of cinema, theatre, symphonies, opera and shows. For the shopaholic, boutique shopping is a short walk, downtown is very close, and the malls aren't too far! The Manor House bed and breakfast provides tasteful accommodations convenient to Interstate I-85. Our lodging is safe, secure, and offers all the comforts of home. An early morning jog to Starbucks or an evening walk will have you feeling like a neighbor. Suitable for business, pleasure, or a girls' weekend away. Come, have some fun!!
You will be staying a short 1.5 miles to the recently rejuvenated West End of Greenville. Showcased here is Fluor Field, home of the Greenville Drive. A short distance away is the centerpiece of the area, a walking cable bridge-The Liberty Bridge-spanning the banks of the Reedy River Falls and adjacent park. Restaurants abound on Main Street which makes pre-theatre dinning a pleasure. These are just a few features which put the city of Greenville in a class by itself! NOTE: There are two cats on the property. They do not inhabit the rooms available, but might be a problem if you are highly allergic.
Furman University, Bob Jones University, Greenville TEC and North Greenville University are local schools and offer many other enriching opportunities for life in Greenville.
The Manor House is my personal home and I live on the property. It is a typical older southern home which I have enjoyed decorating and filling with period antiques or quality reproductions, art, and many objects collected over time and on travels. I seek to have your stay here as comfortable as a night in your own home. You will not be confined to your room as there are several common rooms in which to relax and enjoy. Why not enjoy an early morning coffee on the sun-porch or warm next to a fire in the evening in the living room?
Make it your "In Town Retreat" while visiting Greenville and experience true southern comfort!!
